Hi! This is me trying to blog.
So, Bryan (the boyfriend -- and we'll call him my boyfriend from here on out, because he is) and I have constant debates on females, males, their "places" in society, etc etc. The main reason why we have this discussion, and have had it for so long, is because he's the more experienced one in the relationship. I'm the "goody two-shoes" and he's the "bad boy."

He always tells me to go "burn my bra" because I'm always getting annoyed at the double standard. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't want to go out and experience what it's like to be one of those girls that everyone whispers about. I'm perfectly content being the girl that no one can get to. However, our conversations are never dull because he's always -- well, usually -- being the devil's advocate and trying to challenge my thoughts and ideals. And truthfully, I know he's exploited some of these male ideals, whether or not he wants to admit it.
Yes, he has some valid points from time to time (don't tell him I said that!) but it's usually because he's defending something that already happens. I was watching VH1's Pop Up Video the other day, and it said that female college graduates earn 17% less than male's with a college degree. Fair? I think not. I'm just as capable of being in, and succeeding in a male-dominated industry as I am in a female-dominated. Men can be nurses, so why can't I be an architect?
This is getting a little wordy. To get to the point, after rolling my eyes at him, he said, "Why don't you read it?" He handed me one of the few books he's actually read: The Game. It's all about the underground world of pickup artists.. and, well, basically, men "fooling" women and taking advantage of them to get what they want. Which is what? You know.

Let's hope I still want him to be my boyfriend after I've read this ;]
